DroidLife have heard from
@p3droid that Gingerbread is ready to go for the Droid X. Apparantly it is up to Motorola and Verizon. He goes on to say that it may arrive as early as this Sunday. This is only a rumor and I do believe that Gingerbread is ready, but I do not think it will happen this weekend. Usually when updates are about to happen with Verizon, a document leaks out showing what the changes are. Nevertheless, Droid X users could see Gingerbread sooner rather than later and that is good news. We will keep you posted as more information surfaces.
